Joel Folger graduated from Moorhead State University in Minnesota, majoring in communications. Joel married Becky in 1988 and has 3 children. In his spare time Joel plays sports dad and bus driver, managing one daughter's budding soccer career; supporting the other at college; and cheering at his son's football games. His radio career began in his hometown at KTRF in Thief River Falls, Minnesota and moved into on-air positions at KCLD in St. Cloud, KQRS Minneapolis and KBPI Denver. Joel programmed KJYO Oklahoma City and legendary Dallas stations KEGL and KDGE. He also was program director at KDWB in Minneapolis. He has worked with some of this country's best radio personalities. Joel has a great reputation as a talent coach. At one point the night jocks on Z100 New York and KIIS Los Angeles were both benefactor's of Joel's training.
